The same physical connector appears on both ends of a cable, which is why C-to-C cables are so common.
The critical sourcing point: USB-C is a connector standard, not a speed standard. A USB-C cable can be built to USB 2.0, 3.0, 3.1, 3.2 or USB4 specifications — the connector alone tells you nothing about performance.
